As of 2020 I have had a couple jobs. I started babysitting for three life groups at my church in 2017 and 2018. I love working with little kids and helping them further understand Christ and his love for us. Then my first actual job was with NATS Detasseling in the summer of 2018.  This has been a phenomenal job and probably the most life shaping one so far. This job teaches me many things such as self discipline, determination, work ethic, and positivity through any situation. Detasseling has taught me that I can accomplish many things I originally thought I couldn’t. Picking corn tassels at first in freezing cold weather to then scalding hot humid afternoons, has helped shape resilience. But it has been one of the best, life shaping jobs I’ve ever had and I can not wait for my future years building new relationships and with NATS. These past three years , it is such a blessing to be able to come back and have the opportunity to be apart of this community.
